GYG Middle School Youth Enrichment Event

The Gateway Youth Group Middle School Enrichment Program and Sacks Thrift are so excited to invite your kids to participate in a Junior Volunteer Event learning about how Sacks and the Help Center impact our community and how volunteering is so important.

We will be designing Ugly Christmas Sweaters to be sold in the store where 100% of the proceeds will go to supporting the thrift store and funding the Help Center!

Please join us on Saturday, December 7th from 10:00 am – Noon at the Gallatin Gateway Community Center for a fun, educational, and crafty morning!

Sweaters will be provided by Sacks Thrift as well as some decorations for the Junior Volunteers to sort through for their original sweater ideas.

We would love for each student to bring in a few small crafty additions to add to the collection. Some suggestions are listed below.

o ribbon

o ornaments

o jingle bells

o puff balls

o multicolored felt pieces to be cut into patterns (trees, reindeer, snowflakes, etc)

o glitter spray

o bows

o fun items that could be hot glued to a sweater

o Your creativity!
